Flea Market Find: Blue Pyrex Bowl

Today at the local flea market store, Everything And More, I scored this pretty light blue Pyrex bowl for only $1.99!

Although, after doing some research, I found out that this is actually part of a nesting bowl set, I'm still happy with my purchase. It'll make a great addition to my mixing bowls, or maybe I'll leave it out for display. If it wasn't for my small amount of dishes, and the mass amount of dog hair flying all around my apartment, I would totally opt for open cabinets in my kitchen.

Shopper's Guide: Urban Outfitter's Blanket

Here is a photo of my current bed with my new nightstands! And one lazy puppy.

I am slowly making improvements on my bedroom. My first step was to order this beautiful summer blanket from Urban Outfitters

Although, I ordered mine in gray, so I won't have to worry about changing out any of my pillows. I can't wait for it to come! I always feel like a small child waiting for Christmas during the wait for something I have ordered online.

My next step will be to D.I.Y. my own fabric headboard. I'll be sure to post pictures when it's finished!

D.I.Y: Nightstand / End Table

These two end tables were passed down to me from my mother from when she was a young adult in her own first apartment(s). Having been stored in a poor environment, they were pretty damaged and outdated.

After light sanding, four spray paint cans of primer, four more cans of satin white spray paint and new hardware:

This whole transformation only cost around $30! That's $3 per spray paint can, and about $1.50 per handle. I think they turned out fantastic! Although, I am thinking about adding some sort of color to them to give them character, like so:
