These two end tables were passed down to me from my mother from when she was a young adult in her own first apartment(s). Having been stored in a poor environment, they were pretty damaged and outdated.

After light sanding, four spray paint cans of primer, four more cans of satin white spray paint and new hardware:
This whole transformation only cost around $30! That's $3 per spray paint can, and about $1.50 per handle. I think they turned out fantastic! Although, I am thinking about adding some sort of color to them to give them character, like so:
